After fourteen years it is time for us to retire. Back in 2003 we came to Picton and converted a residential property into what we believe to be the ideal B&B. We have built up the business to being a top performer providing guests with the wow factor.
Picton is a lovely tourist town, having been upgraded in the last few years. The climate is great with guests from all over the world here for the Queen Charlotte Track, the wineries experience, our outdoors walking & cycling, scenery or enroute to other places in the South Island after visiting the North Island.
Glengary is the closest B&B to our attractive waterfront located down the drive and across Waikawa Road. Guests can enjoy the ambience of a 5 minutes walk along the waters edge to the CBD where our restaurants, bars, taverns and tourist shops are located.
Our guest rooms are all on the upper level with the two ensuited rooms having inner harbour views. The twin room has it’s own large private bathroom. The fifth room is the guest lounge. Our quarters are at the rear of the house adjacent to where the owners BBQ and private deck with outdoor table and chairs are located.
The business is being sold as a going concern with most of the furniture available for sale as we will be significantly downsizing on retirement. Some of the features are unique. We will provide every assistance to the purchasers subsequent to confirmation of sale.
