Achieving Visitor Sustainability

What It Looks Like:

New Zealand provides world-leading experiences for both international and domestic visitors.

Business Commitments

The Visitor Commitments are designed to grow visitor satisfaction through business improvements based on strong insight, and continually deliver unique experience which exceed visitor expectations. They also reflect the tourism industry’s responsibility to educate our visitors about how to respect nature, respect culture and respect their host community.  As a hosted accommodation provider and a member of Bed & Breakfast Association your day to day actions will already be meeting many areas of these commitments.

5. Culture and Heritage: Embrace Aotearoa New Zealand's culture and heritage as part of delivering a unique and authentic visitor experience.

6. Visitor Engagement: Engage with visitors about how to be great travellers within Aotearoa New Zealand.
